Russia Returns 1,000 Ukrainian Bodies, Gets 19 Russian Soldiers

Kathmandu — Russia has returned another 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers to Kyiv, while receiving the remains of 19 Russian soldiers in exchange.

According to the Russian news agency TASS, “A total of 1,000 bodies have been handed over to Ukraine, and Russia has received 19 bodies,” a source said.

Earlier, on June 19, President Vladimir Putin announced that, in addition to the 6,000 bodies already transferred, Russia was prepared to return a further 3,000 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
